One of twelve steel trawler minesweepers built for the French Navy. Launched in 1918 each vessel was armed with a 100 mm cannon on the forward deck and one on the stern. Other ships in the fleet were the Cerisoles, Inkerman and the Sebastopol. [Photo of one of the ships which were all designed in the same fashion.]
