Title: Winter Carnival- Snow Statue
Photographer: K. B. Walch
Subject Headings: Manners and Customs - Festivals, Seasons - Winter, Buildings
Condition: Good
Description: Theta Tau fraternity took Class "A" first place laurels with its presentation of "Sampanorama." Each icy sack of grain looked like it would certainly rattle and slump when picked up by the carved, oriental stevadores. Cracks in the boards and pilings of the dock emphasized the reality of the scene. Ornate detail of the roofs gave final testimony to the overall perfection of the statue. [Photo taken at night. The frat house is in the background.]
