• Back of print states: At Central Mine location this is the most ambitious residential structure still habitable in the area. It is the property of Charles Stetter, current Calumet High School principal. The residence now has 12 rooms and used to be the home of the Central Mine clerk, later, agent or suprintendent, John Robert. Erected in 1875, the building near the engine house in which the hoisting machinery for the mine shaft was loacted.
