Lumber Mills - Vulcan Corporation

Manufacturing Process, Mills and Millwork, Saw Mills, Buildings, Forest Products Industry Houghton County's newest and biggest industry, the Vulcan Corporation, a firm which produces lumber and sundry wood products, still retains its main offices at Antigo, Wisconsin. This mill is the heaviest contributor to freight to the Copper Range Railroad. Most of the loadings are shipped to McKeever by CRRR, then south over the Milwaukee Road.
