General Store in Redridge |
Buildings, Commercial Buildings, Persons, |
The last general store in Redridge was operated by Kenneth Simonson, shown on steps of his store which was once the home of the original Morin family. The first store in Redridge was the Atlantic Mining Co. Store that burned down in 1910. The Baltic then built a store and that closed down in 1947 and partially burned in 1950. It was then dismantled by Andrew Engles and a private grocery store was installed in the old family Morin residence by Reynold Timonen, then Kenneth Simonson and finally Earl Hiltunen.
