Persons, , Pastor Joseph Riippa (unknown if he is any relation to Adolph Riippa). Written on the back of the photo: Joseph Riippa was struck, died by lightning in Hancock - Finnish Church - August 28th 1896. Friday afternoon 3:30. Age 28 years, 5 months and 7 days. Wife and one child left.
