Description: Before retiring in their tent the girls usually concentrated on comics for the pre-slumber period. After a steady grind at the stove they were usually tired and were only too glad to take their positions on mattresses on the ground within the tent. They liked the steak they cooked and the tin foil dinners. From left, Kristine Engberg, Sandra Wilbur and Terry Ann Garth. [The girls settle in for some reading before retiring on their air matresses.]
