Description: This array of 52 mailboxes is the largest in Keweenaw County and the farthest north in Michigan. They are located on a Star Route out of Mohawk and serve the residents of Lac LaBelle and Bete Grise. Most of the boxes service resorters. The array diminishes with the coming of late autumn. Most of the boxes stay until used again in the spring. [View of a line of mail boxes set up by the side of the road.]
