Title: Redridge Dam
Photographer: Bill Brinkman
Subject Headings: Industries, Engineering,
Condition: Good
Description: Grates over the valves in the steel dam at Redridge gave some protection from floating debris from blocking the pipes, but eventually the valves resuted and broke and debris did get through and create problems. Notice one valve rod broken. The steel dam was finally lowered to a point where the exit was equal to the river's run off. The water level was dropped in the summer of 1955. The log dam still impounds river water.
