Description: Movie theatre in Mohawk built early 1900 by Finnish Temperance Lodge. Keweenaw Miner was printed in lower level. Theatre was operated by Thomas Wiles and later by a Norwegian man from Laurium and a Mr. Kline of Mohawk. After 1932, Louis Azzi opened a bar in the basement and held dances on main floor, at that time it was known as Liberty Hall. Burned in 1937. Several men stand in front of building. Sign above door GRAND [Exterior of the stone building. There appears to be some writing on the roof of the building, but is unreadable.]
