Description: The joint interests in Homestake Copper Company's project here met this week in the firm's geological department at the Kingston Mine. They also examined the ore specimen donated to the Copper Country Rock & Mineral Club for use in marking the gravesite of Douglass Houghton. Near the copper boulder, from left, are Paul Henshaw, president of Homestake Mining Co.; O. E. Anderson, manager of Homestake Copper Co., and R. J. Hall, assistant to the vice president of the International Nickel Co., of Canada, Ltd. Henshaw stopped in Calumet while enroute from New York to Homestake's home office in San Francisco, while Hall was here to meet with Anderson and others regarding the latest aspects of the project.
