Description: This mass of pure copper, weighing about 6,000 lbs., was found upon the property of the Minong Mining Company situated at McCargoe Cove, Isle Royale, L.S. It was taken from an ancient mine pit 16.5 feet deep, and is just discovered, showing ancient stone hammer marks.
