Description: Split Bicycle Sheave built by the Lake Shore Engine Works, Marquette, Michigan. Photo shows a split cast iron 8 ft. bicycle sheave built for the Homestake Mining Company. This sheave has removable and interchangeable steel liners and is so designed that it can be transferred through small drifts or tunnels.
