Two of the background figures are in uniform. [this image was copied from the October 15, 1918 issue of the Hancock newspaper The Evening Copper Journal, but also appeared in other local newspapers. It was distributed by the U.S. Public Health Service along with information on limiting the spread of the influenza virus, and how the flu virus was hampering American efforts in World War I.]
