Description: Helmer Peterson of Tapiola inspects one of the log structures built during the first session of the course sponsored by the Michigan Tech division of Public Services. The course will run for two to four sessions of eight hours each on Saturdays. The instructors are Helmer T. Peterson of Tapiola, a veteran log cabin builder, and his son, William, an instructor in the Michigan Tech Department of Applied Technology. Sessions are held at the Helmer Peterson farm.
