Fisk, Corps of Engineers, U.S. Army, in 1904 and 1905 from U.S. Survey of the Norhtern and Northwestern Lakes made in obedience to the Acts of Congress and orders from headquarters corps of engineers, U.S. Army between the years 1863 and 1904. [Chart encludes Portage Lake, Torch River, Torch Lake, and the Upper Entrance and Canal of the Portage into Lake Superior.]
