Lake Superior milling figure 4. The temperary frame building was a combination engine, compressor, supply and change house, equipped with an 800 Cu. Ft. Ingersoll-Rand Straight Line Air Compressor; and American Hoist & Derrick Company Hoist, equipped with 3-4" hoisting cable; a steam pipe rack for drying the miners clothes, heated by the exhaust steam from the compressor; a small room used as an office, and a small supply room.
