Here, the Chassell Mercantile Co. displays many Panther trophies. The school now has so many symbols of the court sport that they fill not only the little niche in the Community building, but also the stores of the town. The mercantile firm says, "The days specials are trophies, all Chassells, the greatest Class D basketball school in Michigan."
