The huskies started the season strong, compiling a 5 to 2 conference record before hitting a slump in the second half of the season due to inexperience and injuries. The spikers had to overcome several injuries to key players that hampered their potentially bright season. Fifth year coach Mary Kaminski held the team together as two starters sat out the season.
