Telegraph reads: Two hundred men from the north end have just marched to the Centennial shooting off firearms. Centennial is working with small force but I have just given orders to close down. Every mine in the district is closed. About seventy-five percent of the men in Calumet brance working. No 16 working but will undoubtedly have to close tonight.
