Calumet Light Guard

Industries, Service Industries, Hospitality Industry, Hotels, Armed Forces, Soldiers, Calumet Light Guard. Company B., Second Batallion M.S.T. 1881. On August 8th, 1881, the Calumet Light Guard became a unit of the Michigan State Troops. On that date the members of the Guard formally enlisted in the State's service for three years.
