Home of Pastor Adolph Riippa. He's sitting in the third row back. The house was located on Atlantic Ave. in Atlantic Mine. Adolph Riippa was a Pastor for the Grace Lutheran Church in 1907-1908. He died in 1910. (Written in "History of Grace Lutheran Church"). Later the house was sold to Isaac Karvonen and Selma (Pennala) Karvonen (my grandparents). The house was still in the family when it was lost to a fire in the late 1970's. [Photo of group of people gathered on the porch of the house for a photo.]
