Biography - Charles Trevethan

Buildings, Commercial Buildings, Barbershops, Persons, Retirement after 40 years of barbering in Houghton is a reward Charles Trevethan has earned. Here he greets the press with his familiar smile as he sits in the chair where uncounted thousands have rested comfortably while they were having their hair cut. Born in Iron Mountain in 1888, Charlie started barbering at 16 and went first to Calumet in 1908. [A smiling picture of Charlie as he sits in his barber shop.]
