Calumet's village councilmen view the recently erected sign designating the Calumet Theatre as an official historic site in Michigan. The large, metal marker is two-sided and has raised lettering. It occupies a central spot in the small, shady park adjacent to the theatre. The council members from left, are Emil Primeau, Arnold Rosendahl, President. Frank Beatty, James Perko and Arthur Sutinen. Restoration of the theatre is now taking place. [Photo of the councilmen admiring the new sign.]
