Krolls Drug Store - parade day. [Photo shows Krolls Drug Store and the Houghton National Bank next door. The offices of Doctor Scott are above the drug store. Several United States flags of various shapes and sizes are attached to the buildings. Pedestrians include a woman with children, well-dressed men and one wearing a soldiers uniform. Krolls drug store became the site of Roys Pharmacy in later years. The Four Seasons Tea Room is now (2005) located here.

Calumet's village councilmen view the recently erected sign designating the Calumet Theatre as an official historic site in Michigan. The large, metal marker is two-sided and has raised lettering. It occupies a central spot in the small, shady park adjacent to the theatre. The council members from left, are Emil Primeau, Arnold Rosendahl, President. Frank Beatty, James Perko and Arthur Sutinen. Restoration of the theatre is now taking place. [Photo of the councilmen admiring the new sign.]
